2005 Hemi Engines - Same

Post by newport100 »

Still trying to save my 2005 Ram - does anyone know if the 5.7 from a 2005/2006 300C is the same or could be fitted / I have tried to find out online but cannot find a definitive answer. or any ideas who to ask?
TIA

From what I can tell they are the same dimensions, but the truck engines have a different cam,not sure about anything else, but I know from ordering a diablo tuner they have different ones for trucks and cars.

There's a big info thread on late Hemi's in the Moparts race only section, you might be able to glean some info there?

A good reference site to look on is Bouchilon Performance, they specialise in late Hemi swaps, new to old, old to new, you name it they do it, engine looms, ecu's, exhaust, motor mounts, trans adaptors etc.
