temperature gauge problem

Post by Lance »

Ok, got a bit of a problem with a temp gauge.
While doing the MAD electrical upgrade/bypass of the ammeter as mentioned in a previous post I installed a VDO volt meter, I also had a matching temp gauge and also an oil pressure gauge, so I thought it was a good idea use all three.....connected them up, volt meter works, temp gauge thrashes from one end of the scale to the other with no sender connected pulled the earth and its still thrashing side to side 😵 now I'm stuffed, any ideas anybody or do I just bin it and get another more suitable unit

Cheers
Lance.

Should be worth a laugh or two in the beer tent at the HRD's!
