Post by Steve »

Dont know if anyone else is interested in military vehicles (I love the bikes in particular) but thought I would share a few pics from last weekends Victory Show in Leicestershire.

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

I sold my 54 Cadillac to a guy from Bury way a couple of weeks ago, he had over twenty military vehicles, bikes, half tracks, hummers, loads of stuff old and new

Glad you like them men :thumbright: I was really surprised with the BMWs....looks like the technology continued through to the 80s, virtually unchanged.

The half track was very noisy, you certainly couldnt creep up on onyone on it!! The Harleys were really nice...one of them had a really long swing arm but only one seat. I kmagine it was built to have two seats?? They even had those little bikes that were dropped by parachute.

Lots of other stuff there as well.....tanks, model boats, scale planes, weapons, tractors, cars and some gorgeous planes (2 Slitfires, 2 P51s and the only flying Bristol Blenheim in the World amongst others). They also fill the woods with authentic camps from various campaign's and there is a huge battle involving tanks, planes, ground troops etc. A great event!!
