I used American Autowire complete kit for a 69 Camaro and that was very comprehensive and instructions were excellent, original style connectors and terminals, more than enough was supplied...... came from Summit Racing

Got a colour wiring diagram now so may just use an EZ wire kit using the original switches

wiper switch needs to be earthed

dash pod needs to be earthed

think the brake light switch just earths a continually powered circuit

sounds like many of your issues are linked to corroded connectors and poor earthing.

Just bought a wiring kit off Steve Lang.

Hopefully this will cure the near 50yrs of crusty wires. The last thing I want is it up in flames.
