A body rear sway and offset hangers...

So I want to have my cake and eat it... Anyone have experience of doing both a rear sway and using offset hangers? At the moment my rear tyres will occasionally touch the springs , especially if I fang it out of a junction....
Was thinking of a 1/2" Dr Diff offset kit and would like something not too butch for the sway. Was also thinking of 'jacking' the the back up an inch maybe... So will need to add some shims maybe. I will probably do the sway after the offset if I can, so as to spread the cost, so I don't want to get it wrong and find I can't fit the sway later...
