Mopars at.... Mill Hill?
Some oldies from 85 & 86, taken in Mill Hill, north west London, where we woz brung up.
Gatecrashed a Mustang meet at a village hall off Totteridge Lane (posh bit of Mill Hill), spring '86 I think, and stole the shown in their evening disco with our moshing to Billy Idol and the like, while they all sat around sipping their shandies....

Thats fair do's Dunc. When I first got my car, I took it down to my brothers village (more of a Hamlet really). When I left his place I tore down the road, and everyone always said that my car was LOUD. I turned round and came roaring back at the same pace and you could hear the crackling echoing accross the fields either side when I lifted off. My brothers neighbours told HIM to tell ME not to bring the car down there again or they would contact the Police.
So you know what, I stopped outside the biggest moaners house and left too big black lines and loads of tyre smoke. If I had had more room I would have spelled the word "Miserable Knobber" in rubber on the road.
Maybe that was going a bit too far.
Only got to do it once cos engine went pop not long after that
Anyway, back on thread.
Any more pics twins???

Spose you just gotta wish for deaf neighbours Dunc...
Maybe I'm gettin old or just a bit Victor Meldrew .... but
I'd be quite happy if someone wanted to repeat that outside my house now, if it were in a cuda or similar, but as soon as some spotty chav on one of them pesky scooters starts buzzin around here thinking they're Francis, sorry, Valentino Rossi or summat, I find I'm wishing him/her all sorts of misfortune out on the open road
Rather have your Challenger next door Dunc anytime
Clivey, still lots more scanage to be done, workin my way thru me old pics.
Watch out for '87 next !!

I was at that mustang meet, went with a mate in his '72 'vert met blue with white top. We parked facing the cars in the pics. At that time a guy had a Charger in our town,he was meant to come with us. If I remember right the Charger was a '68 BB car in a very pale green/yellow

I've been here 2 years and got on with everyone great. That is until I tried to help them.Cannonball wrote:tis true clive, i have been here 18 yrs without so much as a wrong word dont want a freshman moving in and giving it a ear bashin
They all moaned about the chavs coming round and causing trouble and wished someone would put gates up. So I started a gating scheme, got quotes, got a grant from the council etc. It was all going well until I asked everyone to pay ?25 towards the gates (which they had all previously agreed to!).
Now I'm a con artist, one of my neighbors punched me, and the rest don't talk to me.
I can categorically say that is the last time I ever do anything for my community! No wonder this country is going down the pan

Sorry for the hijack, have your thread back.

Hi Adam, I've been trying to post me old pics in date order (as best as I can as they're not all marked up with dates), so reckon I've done what '87 pics I've got to hand.
Have a look thru the rest of the archive, think there's some of that vintage
Why, do you think you'll be in them? You're too young, surely
