Yep you're right dunc you can never go out of style with 15" super tricks and a tunnel ram, funnily enough I just scored some 15x10's for my Camaro

seems kinda cool,no mounting bracket, but the coppers can still see the number.
Yes Drew it is indeed a sticker type no plate, mosly reserved for e type jags and 60,s sports cars they looked cool on certain cars,,
Sure would be nice here, I dont run a front plate, it is the only out law thing I do ,cept speeding ;)

You're right Chris that is the hood that Tony has, it's the one Matt took the measurements for the T/A replica hood to go on my old Challenger.

Some T/A hoods did find their way on 1970 non-T/A cars as they ran out of stock on Shakers from memory.

Off on a tangent now - as have been going through some old pics , don't know if I ever posted this on here at the time - possibly one of the most rotten cars I have ever seen - it was taken round mine about 10 years ago - rare car 71 R/T 340 , so rotten that the inner fender - shock mount was completely collapsed

hemi472 wrote:Blue I think tony has that hood from the Hemi challenger in his shed as he has one to replace the damaged one on the T/A Challenger and I know it has 426 Hemi emblems on it.

Also I'm pretty sure the T/A style hood was available in the 70 model year on Hemi challengers for a few months ?? ( possibly due to shaker hood production problems ?) Any challenger experts ?

Yes a few hemi cars got the TA hood,,,,,

Yes don that's it , I had it for about 13 years it was a nail when I got it all of the original Russos rat paint was long gone unfortunately and it was straight orange so it got a quick coat of black paint , I would of loved to do the Russos paint again but would of been mega money to replicate properly , four or five engines, three transmissions and an axle swap , ended up running 10.30's with the 540 which I then de-tuned a bit and put in my 69 Camaro , I wanted to return the Chevelle slightly more towards how it was when it came over so I put a 4speed back in it and a regular big block Chevy- it was still good fun then as well as it ran 11.90's with the four speed which kept me busy  I sold the car about two years ago
Picture here of when it first came over in 1973
