Yes,
Have one that runs form the Alternator on mine. Has its own cover/housing.
Had no issues so far!

Best Photo I can find....Just to the left of the Ignition Box.
This was all done using the MAD Ammeter bypass. So I put a midi between Alt and Batter post on Starter Solenoid instead of fusible link.....Think I used 50 Amp. Only have a 65Amp alternator and from what I read these should be running at max 75% unless serious issues so 65 x 0.75 = 48.75. 50 Amp is my safety.
On the Feed to interior electronics is used either 20 or 25 amp blade fuse in holder (both of these are next to each other in the pic). Have no radio or heater, so only use is lights realistically. Again.......No issue thus far and its inline with the 16 gauge fusible link wire that they used on the factory layout......
As below.....Blade fuse in holder next to ignition box. Midi fuse is bolted into inner wind of car for security and is just below it!:thumbright:

No problems Andy.........I thought I sent you a PM.......but yes I've got the CD back thanks.
As for Antifreeze. Blue ethelyne glycol with silicate coolants should be suitable.
Do not use the modern stuff which contain OATs..........Organic Acids. Have been known to eat gaskets in classics etc. usually red, orange and other funky colours.
Same old approach as usual.......make sure you dump the entire coolant contents before putting the new stuff in, just so you don't have issues if the old stuff is slightly different (sorry if teaching to suck eggs).
