We've just driven down from Scotland & seen some of the flooding, the main routes are ok, they say that there's more coming on Wednesday I don't know if you can hold your breath till then.

All dry under foot here too

It’s all localised as far as I can tell

The only flooding in the city is near the Lowry and the Mark Addy

This bridge getting washed away in Radcliffe Saturday was quite spectacular …

and I’ve had a pint or 3 in the Waterside many years ago …

Plenty of water around here over Christmas, levels dropped now, some area of town were underwater and evacuated, most of Knaresborough is on a hill. The Nidd runs into the Ure, into the Ouse then all that lot goes straight through York then Selby. They got the full force of it. Poor sods.

Around my house yesterday.

Im just back from an Off-Shore trip off of Norway. To get on the Chopper there was a human chain formed otherwise it was next to impossible due to the wind, over 80 knots.

Last night a giant wave came through and entered the accommodation module of the COSL Invigorator, one man died. Rough weather indeed.
I'm here because Im not all there!!
