Andy's 33 Plymouth....... 7 new pics the story so far

Post by Anonymous »

Hi
As soon as the Hot Rod was in my garage :D out came the Autosol polish to clean up the engine and wheels.
Off with the rear wheels for some new tyres. 265x70x15 to replace the 295x50x15 to fill out the wings a bit more. :)
The 295x50x15 have 7mm tread if anyone wants to make a ? offer.

 Wow Andy! It looks like a new car! I would suggest a little more padding under the seats. They are a little hard on yer bum.

I was going to fit taller tyres to fit those arches, but never did.

Well done mate! It looks much better now. :)
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

Andy, just came across these pics I took at Santa Pod around 84.
Looks like a 33 Plymouth, but could it be your car? A few differences like the lights, mirrors, bumbers etc might be easy to change but it looks like a different V8 in there, so probably not.
Thought you might like to see them, all the same.

Cheers for the pics Rob but not my 33 or my old 33 Q745 GKV which i got in 84 and sold in 97. I checked the RAC and DVLA sites and Q745 GKV had a V5 change in AUG 05 dont Know if it was sold or just change of details but i am glad it is still alive :D

I have the one in your pics in a mag and used it for ideas when building my first 33. It was at the Hot Rod Drags this year with new red paint , wheels etc etc and looked great and ran quick. It still had the 3 wipers like mine and being red they are almost twins

Hmmm.... didnt notice the 3 wipers!
But now you have, strange that they work the opposite way to each other??

I had not spotted that they were opposite but i guess that makes them a pair of wipers

You do like a challenge, house extension, Charger rebuild , Christine rebuild and build a Hot Rod :salute:

I hope everything go's to plan, the Charger looks great and Christine is super cool
