Mini Endoscope

My friend bought one of these and found it to be quite good, for the crazy low price they sell for.

He used it down in to a cylinder where you could make out quite a lot of detail.

Thought I'd share :)

(You need a usb to micro converter)

If used with the Micro USB 5 pin Male to USB A Female cable, you can plug it in to your smart phone and it is mobile :)

I'm waiting for mine to arrive, this is the cable you need for your mobile...

I had one (snake scope) and I've used it a bit - it can be handy. BUT the most tricky thing is interpreting the orientation of the image. By the time you have bent it round and stuck it under the dash up is left and down is up and in is out etc etc. Its really odd.
Handy tool though. I'd like one with a built in screen but these are about £60.

Best I've seen recently was our chimney sweep who had a camera on his brush. We got a thorough view of every part of the chimney in colour, but orientation can be a problem. I've got the snakescope, good kit,I use it under floors and in wall to track services or look for rot. Again it's hard to find top or bottom of picture!

They come up occasionally as lidl / aldi specials for around the 40 quid mark.
I have one of these and they can be useful occasionally. There's a button on the screen to invert the image.

I bought one of those a year ago, not because I had a specific use but because it was SO cheap and I would SURELY find a future use!! :D

It does what it says, image quality is not fabulous but you wouldn't expect it to be.

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you
