1st time I have attempted anything like that. Was pretty OK. Totally different beast from a Ford. The chevy relies heavily on the wooden frame. That is usually the fist thing to disappear.
And the fact only 7000 of these things were ever built, makes it a pretty rare little truck. It has a big following with the rest guys. OOPS!

I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!
Yesterday evening was productive in more ways than one. Thought I migt advertise the glass fenders, running boards etc. Sold em within a couple of hours.
While waiting for the guy to come pick em up and pay. I set at the seat frame. Worked a treat!

The guy paid me $2100 for the panels... So I will be spending that wisely!

This car is going to be a real handful! 400HP, short wheelbase, slicks on the rear and skinny bias plys on the front!

Few hours on it Friday eve.... These things came with a wooden frame for the cab. No steel at all. Some of it was broken, some missing and some rotted. So the whole lot came out, i am now fabricating a new steel frame. Following the original frame, but instead of the 2x1 wood, it is now 2x1 steel. Already working a treat, and feeling a lot more solid now. Adding more weight, but really don't think that is going to matter.

Not a lot done recently.... Saturday, we will be channeling the rear bed. Exchange rate from USA still not god, so holding back on ordering parts at the moment. Big learning curve on this.. Everyone and his brother has done a ford. Chevy are a lot different! Oh, it does have a screen now! And a wiper.

Wow, getting panels to fit on an 85 year old truck is just a time vampire!
Door alignment has been an absolute nightmare, but pleased to say, almost there. Had to remove the whole roof to get there though. Now I see why guys start with glass bodies! But, we have put a lot of thought and time into this build. It was going to be a quick turnaround... But we are doing a hell of a lot more. The strength we have added to this trucks structure is amazing, and I will, have no fear in blasting this little truck down the strip in the Ontario nostalgia racers class.
