So sorry Pete, I forgot you lived in a deprived area without High streets :D

If you stop buying all these toys you might be able to afford to move back over here to civilisation :P

Talking of new toys here's my new work truck, Ford F350 6.0l powerstroke, six speed (stick shift !) and goes like the proverbial off the shovel, tows nicely too ;)
Just had the niggles sorted & mud terrains fitted all round, now running very sweet indeed, this should keep the accountant happy.....
If you break down on your new moped give us a shout and I'll come and pick you up :P :P :D (only joking mate that new bike looks the dogs dangly bits :) )

Thanks Pete, the Landy has been struggling of late. Got 2 of those tracked post-driving machines now (bren gun carriers as you call them) plus a tracked dumper so needed something with enough power to haul them....you gotta hand it to the yanks, they just get it don't they, if you need more power make the sodding engine bigger! Simple really aint it?
Will pop over asap as I'm seriously liking the bike, BUT for gods sake buy yourself a decent skid lid, that hard hat you got from the 1950's just wont cut it on todays roads....

Lovely Pete!
A mate used to have a Panther 500 single, he was about 9 stone soaking wet. It was fun watching him start that!
No-one will believe you...

Pete reference our conversation on checking a mag is working properly ,apparently you open up the gap on an old plug and if it can jump a spark across the gap it's ok.....?

Sounds good if you can generate a spark under any condition.

Then you just have to set the timing accordingly.
