Bizarre Note Left On Dodge Dart

Post by JustinMFox »

This Dart usually parks down the road from my work , today it has a note on it that someone has left on it, I wonder what they mean ? Moaning about it being a gas guzzler maybe ?

Eco fruit cakes,no idea that however much fuel the car has used over it's 40 years,it's had a lot less impact than keep making (and scrapping) new cars.

When he leaves, I don't suppose he starts it and rev the arse out of it for 5 minutes and then does a rolling burnout, leaving 25 foot black lines on the road? :D

I bet there are dozens of those leaflets on various big cars around the area.....who types a three line note for one car!

Wonder if they considered what damage paper production does to the World, and the production and disposal of ink cartridges used to print this note? What about the pollution caused manufacturing and transporting the computer they used to type it across the World from China?? Also, if they have time to do this then I doubt if they are contributing quite as much to the community in tax as the hard working owner who grafts to keep his car in great condition and on the road. Wonder if they refuse to take advantage of the benefits brought to the community through the fuel tax generated by 'gas guzzlers?? Im guessing not.

Im betting that most of us cause more pollution as a result of doing 12000 miles a year in our daily cars than 2000 in a classic Mopar!

Damn, just twisted my ankle falling off my soap box!! :D

Lol.

I took it as "someone wants to sell, and the estate agent told them the car is knocking money off their house" instead!

Victor Meldrew type.
Bright Blue stickered car that makes noise on startup. Happens to be noisy twice a day most days.

Life's too short......bet they drive a leaf and watch paint dry in their spare time.

I'd have to write a sarcastic comment on it and put the note on the car the next day.

I think the fact that they've used the words 'community' and 'surroundings' rather than 'our planet ' suggests it's an aesthetic problem for them rather than an ecological one, despite the whole classic car scene booming at the moment it's still only a small percentage of the population that are interested and I think the majority of people still see old cars as irrelevant and having no place in the modern world - how else can you explain a society where people actually aspire to own a Prius or 99% of any of the new cars for that matter (new challengers , mustangs & Camaros excepted of course ;) ) look how dreary all the other cars look in the street compared to the Dart.
