Just spoke to Joe East from Brands the other day, they are aiming at making it more of a 2 day event this year but the main day will still of course be on the Sunday. Looks like i'll be running both days and with more cars being on the track so hopefully a bit of "action", thats so long as i dont have a repeat of last years cooling problems. I'm having a new air dam made so should be ok ... :thumbright:

Just had a rather worrying reply from Sasha at Speedfest:

"Good afternoon Adam
Thank you for your email and interest in American Speedfest IV. I can confirm you are registered to display your vehicle at the event.
I have put you down as a being a member of the MMA but we haven’t had a request for a club stand yet, a couple of people have mentioned Derek but I haven’t received an email from him asking for a club stand this year. I will check with my colleague James to see if he has spoken to Derek but currently you will be in the general display area."

Possibly just a case of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing, but you might want to check it out Del?

Thanks for the heads up Adam

I've just spoken to James Caesley and he tells me that Derek has in fact been in touch and booked a club space for us with him, but in his words "he f@cked up and forgot to tell Sasha" !!! so no worries. The only other thing he is asking is whether Derek still wants to do anniversary thing with the Chargers?

Perhaps you'll give James or Sasha a call Derek to clarify.

Thanks Don.
I'm sure it will sort itself out as soon as James and Sasha speak to eachother :-)

Won't need a lot of room for that as there's only Adrian and our car that will be '66's there as far as I know :)

Had me worried then Don, I have been busy the last few days but will give James a call Thursday or Friday, I did call him twice last week but both times he was out and never got back to me.

As for the anniversary thing, it will be for all years of Chargers like I said before, not just 66, and only one from each year that we can manage.

Just got off the phone from talking to James and we going with one Charger from what ever years we can, so if you have a Charger between 1966 and 2016 please let me know if you are going to be there so that we can sort out who's cars are going to be on the time line, doesn't have to be a show car.
