I've been watching hot rod garage and roadkill from the start. I think they are great. They've started a new series called engine masters which is also worth a watch.

Like Roadkill these peeps are accessible which I think is the key to it's popularity.

The C Body Wagon was a very good episode,and yes it looked really easy,I felt inspired,what could possibly go wrong?

yeah your right , they are good shows .

saw the pilot of road kill garage , looking like you have to pay to watch it ?

I did originally think , Oh dear

another reality automotive show , full of Bananarama! , like american hot rod , grave yard cars , gas monkeys , American chopper , overhalling , etc & wheeler dealers , chop cut garage or what ever it was called , with a load of BS , drama, & some , not all ! highly questionable repair techniques , scary in some cases ! ,
by the time I finished watching the first roadkill , I really got into it , the more I watched , more I liked it , would find it funny , when stuff goes wrong , because we have all had things happen like this , not funny at the time but .. , any petrol head car guy , can relate to most of the stuff one way or another ....

especially if you have done stuff like , swapped engines , & clutches & gearboxes , in the snow, in the dark out side in the winter , with a couple of torches 2 halogen tripod lamps , even replacing a pair of cracked heads on a 9 year old at the time capri 2.8i Saturday evening , on the side of the road , ( long story ) , & not finishing till 3 am sunday ( things you /I done / do when you young !!)

like the one where they swapped a motor in the car park of summit racing !!

so now i'm a big fan of these shows , road kill is better ! hotrod garage is good , but they cut out too much stuff & in some cases important stuff IMO , & like whats been mentioned , they make it look too easy
still good though !!

The one where they towed Finnegan's Boat to the Lake with the Muscle Truck,then took the Engine out of the Muscle Truck and put it in the Boat,went for a Float,then put the Engine back in the Truck showed determination in the Rain.

Yeah, I watched that one last week, superb! Agree, Roadkill and Hot Rod Garage are great shows. I watch quite a few of the 'reality' car shows (because, even when they are lame, compared to Eastenders or the Kardashians they are Oscar-worthy), but I'd rather watch these any day of the week.
Also, Freiberger (RK) and the new guy on HRG (Tony Drifter?

) are both Mopar guys (sure they like everything, that's OK, but Mopars are their first cars) which in a sea of LS swaps and the like is unusual and means that Mopars get more than the usual share of love on the shows.

As mentioned, they have just started Roadkill Garage, unfortunately appears you have to subscribe (pay) to Motor Trend to get it unless you know differently. That looks good, again it has Freiburger, and this time......Steve Dulcich - another died-in-the-wool Mopar guy who knows his stuff and has written many great Mopar tech articles

The Hotrod/Roadkill stuff is great, the bloke who i bought my duster off Really liked that Sky Show "Fast N Loud" with Richard Rawlings, watched a bit and he seemed like a bit of an arse. Then i heard they did the Roadkill/GasMonkey hellcat drag race, which GasMonkey and Richard Rawlings cheated a bit on. Still, great show and very entertaning, their duster episode was the one that pushed me over the edge to buy a Duster.
