Cam gear drives

Anyone using one of these on the street? Whats the sound like?

Don't know why but i fancy one.

Used to have one on my Duster, the whine is very similar to a blower and it's pretty loud drowning out everything else. Sounds cool for about 5 minutes and then it will drive you crazy if you do much mileage. At the time it was something I just had to have, but having done it, I wouldn't be using one again.

That will probably be my thinking, short lived and then i need to change it out.

The race cars have gear drives but I would not have one in a street car.
