Front springs

Post by Bryan »

I'm trying to locate some squeaking at the front of my car but as i was looking over everything, i noticed that one of my springs has a rubber type divider halfway up the spring. the other one doesn't and I've checked my manuals and can't find anything in there.

Any ideas??

Sounds like an aftermarket Spring assister to me.

Normally used when towing but also a quick fix for sagging springs. Assuming that's what is, yes you could remove it.
