Today in the heat.

Post by Jeff »

93 degrees, not humid, and a nice breeze. Spent it on location for the new Restoration Garage series shoot. Today was auction day.... There was some cheap good stuff there... I got some RF figures and a boxed, unmade original '64 Ed Roth kit for 5 bucks! Saw all the projects Billy is working on at the moment.. Some great Mopar stuff there, but didn't need it!!

Billy has a very strange new ride he got there today!
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

Yes Blue... They commissioned a run of 500 of these all aluminum body and chassis, VW postal vans.... Decided they were too small. and that was that.

Billy has already slammed the hell out of it, and is dropping in a VR6 VW motor and running gear. He has already put the coil overs on it.

So the 2 cars he is restoring at the moment are this and a 65 Ferrari. Mad times!

Strange looking things, especially my mates with having the narrower front end. Cool though
