I've had a quick search but can't find much......
I've got a very rusty fuel tank (internally!) I need to clean and I assume seal. Is there a guide anywhere or anyone got any pointers on what to do?
I think I'm sucking up rust and crud, blocking fuel filters causing me to breakdown 5 times on Sunday!

Fill it with white vinegar is one popular method, leave for a few days and wash out & dry.
I'd go for a new tank if funds permit,a lot less hassle in the long term.

Yeah new tank is £200 plus £150 shipping from Rock auto and nothing to spare at the mo due to buying an engine
I'll get tank out this week and try some things.

If it's rusted inside your wasting your time and effort plus all the hassle as you say of future breakdowns.
I got my new tank from 6pack speed shop on here they did me a good deal.

put in a pint of diesel and some clean gravel... strap to a cement mixer for an hour turn, repeat then rinse well...

I got my tank from six-pack speed shop, they brought it to the Mopar Nats for me and I paid for it and collected it there.

I have done the gravel trick with bike tanks to good effect
I just put in an handful of nuts and bolts from my big box of miscellaneous junk rather than gravel

Ok well I think I'm going to go with Rock auto for £350 delivered which isn't end of the world I suppose as I haven't really got time (or cement mixer) to mess about.
Is the new tank worth treating internally anyway before fitting? Or should it be ready to go? I'll coat the outside with underseal or similar too obviously.

You could try filling the tank with citric acid. Can usually 1kg of the powder on eBay cheap enough just mix with water.
I've used it on some steel parts for gates before welding, works a treat.
