Master cylinder question

Ok I have just been or a long overdue run in the challenger. Question is brake fluid seems to weep from around the reservoir lid even when the level is kept quite low, the rubber in the lid is in good nick. anyone got any idea's No it's not from enthusiastic cornering either

Possibly the start of a problem with the flexi pipes maybe starting to collapse causing excessive pressure

mine was in good nick

wasn't until I laid it on a new one that I realised that over the years it had shrunk by 1-2mm in both length and width
