I wanted to take mine up the strip this year as last time I did it in the Chally I made a right pigs ear of it and done a 17-something!
But still not cured this bloody 'pinking' problem on full acceleration, so I'm not taking a chance in case I break it.

Just got to put a bit of polish on the Demon and we're about ready. Nicola says that it's apparently my turn to take a car up the strip so it'd be rude not to set a time? Are 7 1/4 axles really made of glass? I don't want to break it!

will stand 500hp easy you wont be hurting it,,
I doubt my cali-spec smogger 318 is making a third of that? I'll just play it safe this year... drive around the water, no burnout and walk it away from the line gently.
A timing ticket to see what she does bone stock is the only goal this year.

Gates open 9am Friday for general admission and I don't think they close them until end of play Sunday, so I would imagine they will be open whatever time you turn up on Saturday?
I say open Friday for general admission cos I've just learnt this week that the pro mods (at least) get to go in on Thursday
