Kickdown cable

Cant seem to get my kick down to work.

I have a locker cable fitted and used to work fine but I cant seem to get it to work.

To set it up I

Get someone to move the lever on the autobox backwards all the way, then I open the throttle all the way, then move the lock thing on the cable so there's no slack and tighten up.

Still no kick down

Any ideas?
