Buster Lang 2016

We headed round the M25 on Friday to Sandown for the weekend. The weather was fantastic for the whole event! We had a great time and for a first event at this venue it was good with plenty to see, but could do with some tweaks here and there. Big thanks to Derek for arranging our club area and sorting entry and camping. One of the tweaks is the price for camping was very expensive (£50 on top of entry fee) with little for it, just an area of grass and a few (full) portaloos and no evening entertainment. Entry to the show is reasonable at £15. There was a bar open in the lower floor but could have done with one of the upper floor bars open.

We got there too late to put the car in the hall Fri night, but got set up and ready for the morning,

There was an auction on the Saturday with a good selection of vehicles, I liked the Motorhome, bullet proof Merc 500SEL and this 1950 Fiat

Some really nice metal there - and a LOT of chargers ! (never a bad thing...) I like the screen cars section and my boy would love it - next year will have to make the effort. Good pics.

We couldn't figure out what sold on the day, all got bids. But most had "for sale, see Bonhams for info" notices in the windscreens on the Sunday.
