I was at Geneva too. The girl at the Mopar stand asked me if I knew what Mopar was. Yes, I said, I have one. She looked confused, and then explained that Mopar is a brand that sells accessories such as hats and key rings. Would I like a brochure? Not really, I said.
Young lad with lots of white teeth and an expensive haircut asked if I'd like to sit in the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. So I asked whether the Hellcat version will be available in Europe. Hellcat?, he said, what's that? Umm, it's the 707hp engine in that Dodge Charger next to you...

Terrible isn't it, they would do well to hire some enthusiasts. I had a little sit in the challenger, nice machine.
I just poked my head into the mopar stand and wasn't impressed so moved on.
I tried chatting to a couple of folks there, seems to me they recruit most of them from modeling agencies, don't get me wrong I enjoyed the eye candy but you'd think they would put a few more technical people out on the floor.

Good to see you've got your seat belt on Adam, you cant be too careful
Personally i think its an insult to the MOPAR brand being associated with Fiat.
You can see why FIAT purchased Chrysler and that was to dress Fiats as Chyslers and sell them under the Chrysler brand to unsuspecting Americans that dont realise they are cr4p.

Interesting view.
I thought the Daimler Benz tie-up would have proved to be good and I (personally as an avid MB person) thought the fit was good; but it did not turn out that way.
I would imagine that if Chrysler's fortunes turn around they will try to distance themselves from Fiat with all due haste. At the moment I would guess they desperately still need the $$$$$$'s.
