Excellent work, and very fast too. That firewall looks very similar to how my Challenger was. I remember doing the upstands on the air vents bits. Top job!!

Great bit of welding there. Very satisfying when you can start letting in fresh metal.

Great work and very good photos for amateur welders like me. Great thread and don't think you need any luck with this one...its in the bag already. Time is your only enemy but you will get there, hard bit done now,

Yes it's been waiting a long time from fresh steel.

Cheers for your confidence Steve :) it was good to finally get a start. The main problem I have is distance which also adds to the time. Did bring some more parts back with me to work on here, brakes and doors...just gotta get that garage organized again :lol:

Small update, made a start on the replacement offside door. Needs a bit of work but its better than the original

snap built several bodys for timber trucks , mainly work on hgv's , some challenge to take on , well done 8-)

Brilliant. is that one of the doors from me ???? if so thats why i keep stuff like this for the hobby, i know from being young and skint you can with hard work repir anything, top show matey, ;) ;)
