My garage got broken into on Wednesday night. They pried open the double doors. Must have just been enough flex in them to pop them open.
They took a few power tools and my Mig welder.
Got to have another check round today and make sure nothing else is missing. I've built up such a stack of tools and equipment over the years, takes a while to check everything.
They broke into several other garages in my street too. Normally very quiet round our area. Police couldn't/wouldn't do anything.
Fingers crossed for the house insurance today.
At least they didn't steal anything from the stash of parts for my Charger resto.


On a brighter note, for Christmas, my daughter is buying me a pair of front shocks for the Charger. Bless 'er

Bad luck mate.

Over the years we have been cleaned out twice and no one heard anything,we are among housing.

Second visit they took all the roller cabinets out through and over my sales cars and must have spent a good hour loading up a fair sized van outside,they did take my MK1 Mexico too,but only got a couple of miles up the road before abandoning it.That week we had drained out a misfueled diesel car and my Escort had very little fuel in,lucky or what?

That's bad news....sorry to hear it. I HATE people who steal tools etc that have been hard earned. How do they know if you rely on them for your livelihood or not?? They could be killing someones way of putting food on the table...lets hope you don't catch them down a dark alleyway someday.
