"The car comes with a NOVA form (legal import documentation) and is ready to be registered in the UK. All the relevant forms will be supplied - a pre-filled in V55/5 to register the car in your own name. All you need is a stamp and the registration fee and you'll be the first person to register and drive this classic American car in the UK! "

... probably not known in the UK if it has just been imported?

Andy Reynolds from Sheffield, used to be a joiner by the looks of it, has imported VWs, Corvettes & Mustangs before (the above is all public info from a bit of internet detective work!)

I was looking at this myself... It's missing the front and rear screen trims. It'd be worth finding out if they come with the car as they will be expensive and might be bit of a challenge to track down.

I spotted the missing trims too, which points to a recent screen out paint job. Car looks nice and straight but new paint can hide things.
Orange paint on the dash looks out of place.

Overall it looks pretty, especially with the Rallyes and spoiler

Deffo a recent repaint. The fact that the engine bay has clearly been stripped for a proper job, would suggest that it's not been a quick lash up with god knows what underneath. Worth a look for sure, check that the trim clips for the screen trim are in place and servicable, if they're not it's a glass out job to change them. The trims are out there and repro'd as well but figure on $400 or so for them all, they ain't cheap.

There are some repop sets on ebay dot com at the mo. They are still asking $240 - $260 per end for each set.

There's a used rear screen set for $150 here:

Think I've still got a few trim pieces in the garage......from my A body hoarding days. I've been selling that stuff cheap too..... :help:

Last year a brand new front or rear was circa £250 plus the ride and the risk.

If your pal goes for it and decides to remove the tow package I'd be interested in taking it off his hands!
