For those that might not be aware MUSCLE MOTORS in the U S have now produced a hemi wedge block so you can have your cake and eat it
its called the BLOCK and is a reproduction of the big block but with all the crap bits taken out dodgy oilways etc and you can fit your choice of heads

Some of us don't have time to just doodle all day you know we all got real jobs
looks promising though
mike emailed me back today apparently they will no longer be supplying built engines will only be supplying kits or machined components

We are currently in the process of shifting our business model. We will no longer be assembling engines. We can and will provide you with fully machined components. All the essential parts to make what ever power level you want. Our 30+ yr data base of building engines and dynoing them will allow us to provide a combination to suit any performance need.
Our first production run of blocks is sold and we are going to be ordering another 20 plus blocks this week. The run shoudl take 6-8 weeks to be cast and machined.
You can run the block at 4.375 with out standard 4.25 stroker kit (511")or upgrade the piston (+$400) to a 4.500 bore and make it a 540"
A set of our Aluminum heads CNCd and you can make 650 HP all day long. With a cam that will support power brakes (12"+ of vacuum) you will land in the 575 HP range.
I'll work upi a quote for a complete engine.

Changing their business model, could explain why it's taken 2 months for me to get a reply back from them again.!
I've always thought there were 3 kinds of people in this world those who can count and those who can't
