as you can see. there has been lots done. but lots more to do. I look at this kind of restoration work as though you are doing a jigsaw puzzle. each piece fitted is one step closer to the finish. reggie

now in the last you can see I have made the lower door skin. and am about to repair the lower inner door shell lip. I wire brushed this area on with an electric brush. and welded in the repair. and primed it in red oxide. il paint a gloss on top of the red oxide before I replace the lower door skin I made earlier.

now the inner door bottom is painted ready to offer up the lower outer door skin repair panel. note here its easier to pre drill the holes for plug welding before bending the reveal over onto the door bottom. as the angle of the door shell will prevent the use of a drill. note also the reveal is copied the same as was original. so the finished job will be in keeping with how it would of looked when originally made. eg the cut outs are in the same place for bending around the door shell

good on you mate, remember to keep a dolly on the lower door skin edge as you fold it over. and keep the door shell bottom and skin held together as you gradually fold the reveal over. on the arch section of the door I only used a 5m/m reveal to help fold the arched door skin edge over. then welded to it the arched sections to make the full reveal width. hope I have a pic ready to post showing this. reggie
