383 problem
hi all, regarding the water problem on my engine, have just been in touch with ivor seales, machine shop, they have told me that they have checked both heads in there hot tank and the are fine, they also said that they done the same with the engine block, and that is ok.before i had this problem i fitted a set of exhaust studs in the sides of the head,as these where leaking.so it may be the head gaskets?but they looked ok when i removed the heads,?just one other thing it may be ,could it be water getting in the valley pan gasket?when i had the engine rebuilt i got them to put the block back together.and i fitted the heads,i did have bit of a job to fit the inlet manifold,as it was a elderbrock, the tops of the heads were not level where the inlet manifold sits on to them, hope all this makes sense, dont no if any one else has had this sort of problem, and any help with this please, thanks, mick
