Now that, I'd love to see! Looks a great project if a tad pricey, as you say.

Would love to see more of that Montreal in the background too 8-)

Keep up the great work :thumbright:

It is a tad pricey Rob, I don't think its a go-er as he wont let my brother that lives 130 miles away view it so negotiations are off!

The two montreals are the reason for the slow progress on the chally Those and the lotus type 61 and TVR chimaera , lotus élan and xk120,Indian 741 I've just restored, gave up my full time job to do it! I'm hoping that buyers appreciate me doing everything by the book, not bodging anything and spending day after day researching parts and not settling for "just use filler" pays off!

I would post pics of the alfas but want to keep the thread for the chally, if you send me your email I can keep you posted!

I've found the dodge (and the duster I had to abandon as I was young and impatient) to be so much easier to work on than the alfas.

I'm disappointed I've had to use new panels but ive bought a spot welder and ground down the bits to replicate the mopar factory welds, I've also hAd to grind the block and send it to be re welded around the water jacket (will post pics). Slinden services have done a great job on this and my Buick!

The engine is fully rebuilt and painted hemi Orange, thanks to cannonball (Duncan) for the parts
I know the car is not original anymore but there is as much of it as can be and should make the bats next year!!!

Ps..if the offer for an article in connected is still available I would love to try my hand an journalism if anyone is interested in reading it!

Alfas on a separate thread would be great too, we are all petrol heads even if it isnt Mopar on the badge.

Apologies for the slow progress hopefully the chalky will be going for filling and paint in the next few weeks! Been busy with the other Cars in the garage, as requested some Alfa pics which I'm attempting to paint with my mate! The chalky progress would be faster but got a bit excited at auction and have an etype to add to my collection!
