I love the Avenger Tigers, always have, but then I like a lot of odd stuff.

I always thought the Tigers and the Rapiers (H120?) were the nearest British cars ever got to muscle cars of the time with the spoilers, stripes and hot rodded engines, the Mopar tie up no doubt had a lot to do with that.

I agree with you entirely Blue.

I had a few Hunters and the Holbay was the business. Always regret not buying an H120 Rapier for £1500 back in the late 90's. Try finding one now.

My mate Rog was the first of us lads to pass his test back in the early 70s, so he would borrow his Dad's Avenger, sunfire yellow with a black vinyl roof and automatic trans. Five of us would cruise round town until the early hours. Not quite American Graffiti, but happy times.
