Hi all,
I've had a look at the sticky regarding prop shaft measurement and the Denny's link seems very clear.
Only question I have if you look at the picture (sorry about the quality) is that my extension housing appears to have a metal ring inbetween it and the rubber seal.
I can't work out if the metal ring is part of the extension housing or not, so i'm not sure if to measure from there or just before that?
any advice welcome

looks like a carrier for the seal, perhaps it's a later add on due to some sort of change.
couldnt tell you whether that's original or not.
to be honest that few mm won't make much difference, the spines on the yolk have enough length that if you knock that spacer off the measurement you'll still be fine
