Red indicators

We were stuck behind a newish A..i when,just before total boredom set in,I realised it's tail light lens were all red but the led indicators were flashing amber. How does that work? Could I do the same on the Polara? I know led indicators can be a pain to set up,but.

Not impossible,I think green leds show amber through red.

Won't your brake lights be amber too if you just change the bulbs?

Yes, a green bulb will show an amber light when behind a red lens. You just need to put a strip of green LED's behind the lens. You might need to use a no load LED flasher relay to make sure the unit flashes properly

Guess which dumbass couldn't find the Rolls Royce ðŸ˜– looks worth a call,I know they won't be cheap but if it saves hassle,got stopped in a 58 Chevy because young plod didn't have a clue,got sorted without any other hassle but it spoils the trip.
