if we are all going to buy electric cars

every county will need its own nuclear power station, I am perfectly happy with that if we build them, not the chinese, and its not at the end of my garden :)

it needs to be burried under the ground.

if we do it with coal and gas surely we have missed the point

hydrogen sounds like the magic bullet but it costs more in energy and green house gases to make it than you save by using it

solar isn't good enough
wind is too unreliable

if you drill me a hole 1 mile deep into the crust of this fine earth i'll happily run a steam turbine up the back shed to power my house.....now give me free leccy to charge my car.

oh but that only works in newcastle upon tyne....

yes its true. newcastle is built directly above a massive hot rock

happy to go home but the commute to watford would be a killer

they don't seem to be thinking about how the energy for these new electric cars will be coming from!

or what happens to the battery when dead!
