Dyno Carb Tuning

Post by lough3969 »

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good tuner with a rolling road? Found these guys and they specialise in Weber’s and Holleys, I have a Demon carb so that should cover me.

Can’t help with dyno reference, but wondered what the issue is? Most carb problems can be work d through unless radical cam etc is involved.

I know a good one in the Essex area but it is expensive, it works best if you have O2 Sensor bungs welded in the exhaust; otherwise I tend to agree with Miles.

Not sure three is a specific problem as such but want to see if everything is set up properly such as jetting and ignition etc. But on further reading of dynos websites seems pretty expensive as I’m guessing it would take a few hours... maybe I just need a masterclass in tuning a carb... but it seems it takes a long time to achieve tuning ‘enlightenment’

It can be frustrating. I always have a new carb to eliminate any worn issues. Get timing right then start on carb.

John Sleath in Yorkshire did my 440 Charger . Can't recommend him highly enough. Very knowledgable and helpful. I drove up there from Surrey and would do so again.
