Think I read it sold for 85k, someone paid way over the odds.

I went to the Race Retro show where this auction was on. The car sold for £94,500 all up, so i suspect a new record for a UK based Charger possibly?

Saw a few different article about this over the past week. Could have sworn that charger was up for about 100k a few years ago, pretty sure "Bruce Willis' charger for sale" has been about a few times. One paper said it was a 25k rebuild for the engine, another said it was a new engine. Both seem way too high for just an engine. Another called it a "Bullet" Model charger and another called it the best Bullet replica in europe. Forgive me if i am wrong, but im sure the Bullet charger was a 68, with the wide open grille.

That's right Chris, Bullitt was a 68, the only similarity here is that this 69 is also black...

It might be a well sorted car but without the big name ownership, I'd have thought this was about £50k over priced

Liam from the Prodigy also owned this car I've just realised, which means I sold them a cheap sure grip for it, should have quadrupiled the price...

Okay

30k for the car and engine
60k for the seat where Demi Moore & Bruce sat on

that's got to be worth it :?

The 68 charger of Chris Gaunts was Liams from Prodigy, was painted black, now original metallic blue, unless Liam owned the other as well.
95k is a lot of brass
