Door mirror replacement.

Hi,can anyone tell me how to replace the mirror [glass bit] on a drivers side 1968 remote,I need to swap glasses and don't want to break anything.

Not sure how your mirror is assembled compared to E-body remote mirrors but I used the method Bilko details in this thread...........

It took several days for the adhesive to release in my case but otherwise worked a treat.

Thanks I read the whole thread,looks a nightmare but will have a close look at mine tomorrow,then decide,and get back with results.

not a concourse fix but have you looked at the sticky back mirrors from Wilco Motorsave, cut to shape and stick on, proper Blue Peter. I've used it to re-do reflectors
