New member from Hungary!
Hi guys!
I have just joined up here!
My name is Peter, I'm from Hungary but have been living here on and off since 2001!
I could say that I'm a Moparholic because I have had 3 cars in my life and they are all Mopars. My very first car was a 1969 Dodge Charger that I promised myself no matter what it will be a '69 Charger and before my 30th birthday.Luckily I had managed to buy one and coincidently I was getting married as well that year!
Because I was a novice at chargers and mostly because of I bought her unseen she wasn't what was told to be!We all know stories like that. The problem I had was that in Hungary you can't register a 30+-year-old car unless they are like restored.Didn't have money to restore her so after a couple of years I had to let her go.I always wanted a 4 speed and she was a 727.So thought I just sink money into a car that I really wanna keep forever. We had fun with it and drove on our wedding day.She was the very first '69 Charger in Hungary back in 2011 so she turned heads everywhere we went.
After a few years went and I was really missing the charger so started to look for one. After looking for awhile I have found the "one".For some reason, I started preferring the '68 ones.In 2015 I have found a 1968 Charger r/t real 4 speed, Dana 60, track pack project car.
She is still being restored but hopefully going to be ready this summer.
Since I have had my dream car the '68 Charger, I have started playing with the idea of having my second dream car a '70 Cuda 4 speed.Long story short this January I have bought a 1970 Cuda N code 4 speed and she is sailing here as we "speak".I have only seen a '70 Cuda one in my life but never driven one or even sit in one.As you could imagine I'm more than hyped about seeing her.
Planning to drive her home to Hungary mid-May with the wife.1000 miles road trip is going to be fun with her and I'm sure everything will be alright with her!
Thanks, guys and looking forward to get to know you and your cars!
Cheers,Peter

Hi Peter.....welcome and fantastic photos. Your son will be the future of our hobby and he's off to a great start. What is the classic American scene like in Hungary? Will you get a chance to ride out with others in their cars?
Thanks for a great intro and enjoy this great club
Cheers Steve
