Post by Derek »

The Charger Passed it's last official MOT with no advisories, I'm still going to take it every year though.

Well done Del, mine will continue to be MOTd as well. But at least I don’t have to panic about it expiring the night before an event somewhere now. I can get it MOTd at my leisure, which will probably be at the end of the season so I’ll have all winter to fix anything needed

That's one of those rear ends you could never tire of looking at!
You've definitely banished any silly thoughts of parting with her then Derek?

As I understand it you need to apply for exemption so you could come unstuck if you let the mot expire and continue to use the car on the road even if it is over 40yrs old!

You don't have to apply for MOT exemption, you just check a box when you apply for tax online that declares it is MOT exempt.

Yes I should have said declare rather than apply but the point I'm making is you can't do nothing and continue using a car after the mot has ran out.
