Mopar=smiles to the gallon

Hello boys and girls, my name is Martin, I have recently joined the MMA.
I live in Weston super mare and have finally achieved the one and only
item on my bucket list. I am now the owner (cue silly smiles) of a
big block Mopar,namely,a 1966 Plymouth Belveder 2,383 auto,
stripped out and modded to resemble a super stock drag car of
a bygone era. rough round the edges (both the car and I) but looks
and sounds rather nice-ask the residents and tourests of W-S-M!!!

saw it,and had to have it!!

Welocme, great looking car, and nice to have a seafront not too far to cruise along.
I have 2 hrs drive in any direction to find the sea.

Im land locked like you Matt but Weston is actually the nearest seaside town to me here in Brum. I have many fond childhood memories of holidays every two years from Falkirk in Scotland to see my grandparents who lived in Ewart Road, Weston SM. My favourite holiday was in 76 when the heatwave was on and I bought an Evil Kinevil stuntbike with my holiday money. I saw my first ever real American car, a beautiful lime green and white GT500, in a side street on the way to the beach with my dad. It was up for sale for £800 and I told my dad to buy it as it would be worth a fortune in the future. I forgot that we didn't have a car, we had a council house, he had a bike licence but cycled to work as his C90 Honda cub was broken, and was a skint cobbler (really). Good days when nobody had anything worth nicking so we all left our doors unlocked and played out with a stick until it got dark and/ or we were hungry...

Anyway, great car, welcome to our fantastic club and enjoy,

Morning all. I've got a s.o.s situation. Wondering if any of you good folk can help!
As you can see from the pics, the Plymouth has been turned into a drag car sometime in it's glorious past,including have two small tanks in the boot.
My problem is twofold;
1) I've got to fill up at around every 85/90 miles,and
2) The petrol resistant sealent used to seal the filler of the tank in the floor,isn't very petrol resistant,and now for the second time has seeped fuel
on to my garage floor,and (quite rightly),my neighbours are a little concerned.
I had planned to revert to an original tank come Winter time,even if that involves having a new boot floor fitted,but I've decided to bring that work forward. Can anyone recomend someone who can do this work,preferably in the west country,but any where will do.
It would be nice to have it done in time for the nationals next month,but I guess that'll be wishful thinking!!
