Reverse light failure

Hi everyone. Need some advice. I have a 3rd gen, auto, 4x4 Ram. The high level reverse lights have packed up (the tail lights have been converted to indicators). The bulbs are good. The fuse is fine. Disconnected the battery to see if would reset. Didn't work. Any ideas as to the fault gratefully received. Cheers.

My first thought is either a wiring fault or the Reversing light in the gearbox has failed.

You need to try and locate a wiring diagram (possibly on the web) and break the problem down by testing at specific points.
