NEC Classic Motor Show 2018 - Friday pics

Great day as ever at the NEC today, spent around 8 hours mooching around, bumping into familiar faces, sold our old rad to Neil 'mygasser' (thanks for the courier service Pete) and bought a couple of indoor covers to replace the antique cover craft covers that create more dust than they prevent :roll:

Our tried and tested method for getting away without paying the ever-increasing car park fee has now been scuppered by the new system of having to buy your ticket in the NEC before you leave, not out in the car park kiosks, that tended to be left empty (and the barriers up) if you didn't leave until closing time. £16.... sheesh! :roll:

Still got to sort thru 350 ish photos so I'll put the MMA pics up here first...

Derek had the idea of having a team photo while there was quite a few of us around the stand, so you can have a laugh at our ugly mugs at the end of this batch :oops: :lol:

Thanks Rob, this is exactly why I don't bother taking pictures....unbeatable!! Was great seeing you and Stu......

Im still tickled by the conversation we had with the guy trying to sell the Road Runner to Hemimad (who wasn't there). For anyone not privy to this, what I would describe as 'an abrasive idiot' budged into our conversation and it went a bit like this....

Idiot......"Who owns that Roadrunner?"
Me........ "Dave, one of our club members"
Idiot......" I have a lifesized original Warner Bros cinema roadrunner that he will want, its huge and was on display on a cinema roof"
Me........"I can ask him but hes not her at the moment so will pass on your details"
Idiot......."tell him its really big, lifesized"
Rob........"So its the size of a chicken?"
Idiot......."No!! Its as big as us, lifesized"
Rob......."Ive seen a real road runner in America and its the size of a chicken"
Me (trying not to laugh)..... "I will pass the message on, how much do you want for it?"
Idiot......"If he offers me less than £500 I will put the phone down on him!"

He then strutted off, never to be seen again.

Could be the moment of the show.... or it could be this.... :D :D :D
