Well done to the MMA Committee and everyone involved with the Stand at this years NEC show. The cars on display look a credit to their owners and represent the club's membership beautifully a really great selection of Mopes.Very satisfying that the club displays at a major show such as this one as it raises the profile and interest in our hobby. Well done everyone!

Many thanks for the kind words, Tony - coming from you they are highly valued.

Most of that recognition should go to the members who actively support the club with their cars and importantly their time.

I should also recognise Committee Member Steve Bilson who makes the process of getting your car to the NEC, organising all the infrastructure, and getting the odd round in, significantly easier. Without his input, it is doubtful if we would have the resolve to have a presence at the NEC.

Believe me, it's getting harder every year; so to pull a stand off with the level of cars on display (mine excepted!!) is really an achievement.

I am not sure where we go from this "High" for next year...

It is always a dangerous thing to single people out for praise.

However, I was absolutely knocked out when Duncan offered the Genuine Superstock Challenger for the stand.
On press day, the people "in the know" were all over it.

Incidentally, the show was at pains to say it is now the Largest Car show in the world.

I assume they mean either the greatest footfall of visitors, or possibly the largest number of Austin Maxi's under one roof....
