Coming through your letterbox soon

Post by Gas for GOSH »

End of Year Connected should be coming through your letterbox soon -featuring photos from some of the meets and shows people have gone to this year. A big thank you to all the contributors that sent me info and photos, Simon Feaver for his usual great work on layout and printing, Sean for the cover, Drew and Dave for the chat, Karl for the update on his Torque Aint Cheap Charger, Kev Carrington for his travels etc etc.

Hopefully a decent balance of words and photos. If you want to see your car in print then get in touch - you could opt for a Member's Mopar page or two OR go for a whole feature if you have more of a story you want to tell. PM me if you have any questions. If you want some guidance on photographing your car well that will be in the next issue in 2019 with some top tips by some of the best snappers on this forum. Plus there will be a feature about the NEC show and great cars we had on the club stand.

Hope everyone has a safe, fun and enjoyable Christmas.

Simon, Connected editor :santa: :salute:

Top job, arrived yesterday. Nice surprise to see my car, and then realise it is also my little town car show on a whole page, I didn't have a clue that would be print worthy. Thank you!

Had a good read today. As always , a cracking review of the year.
Loved Si's report on tracing his ex cop cars history. So interesting finding out our cars past.
Have a fair bit with my Coronet. Even Google earthed its last address in Housten Texas. :thumbright:

Excellent again Simon! Especially liked your write-up about your Charger; some good detective work there, no doubt due to your former profession!

Re what you said in 'Ed Speak', about letting you know about events on the MMA Facebook page... not sure if it's just me but I can only post comments to existing posts on there - it won't let me post new comments. Only 'admin' can, as far as I can see, ie you, Derek and Karen :-k

Rob, I think all the MMA committee are admin on FB, I'll start a thread on the so you or anyone else can add your event to it.

Thanks Derek. I wasn't thinking of any specific event tho, it was just that no one apart from admin can post new comments on there, so it all looks a bit sparse... :-k Cant give a very good impression to non-MMA people looking in. Or was that the intention; to encourage people to join the MMA to have some input, rather than use facebook.... I like your thinking!
