I like the States Plates, but think it’s best to have some correct, or at least more correct plates in the vehicle.

The plates are for this. There is no recess as such so it would be a picky police pull to pull me on not having a full size plate.

picky police, OMG you will now have all the Pc brigade pointing and twittering at you now.
What you need to do is:
drive with no insurance, mot or tax, have bald tyres, no lights or just 1 side light, have a few drinks or smoke some funny stuff, sell your house and all your belongings, squat, jack ur job in, go on the dole, have 10 kids with 10 different women, get a mongrel dog and live in the motor, oh and change your gender I nearly forgot that one, silly me.
that way they will never pull you for your small plates :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :thumbright: ]

I would be very surprised if there are any Police Officers theses days who have the time or inclination to stop or prosecute anyone for this offence. The times where bored traffic officers drive around looking for victims to persecute for American plates etc are long gone....if you have an accident though, that may be a different story [-( [-(

I have some 'legal' ones in the boot and the ones I keep forgetting to take off after Ive been to a show. I got some nice ones made up for a 66 Fury I restored a while back...

I recently got a set of 12x6 acrylic plates for the Mustang from one of many online retailers. As Rob says, they are legal if there isn't room for a standard plate. Most of them do silver on black.

I have States Plates on the Dodge for the show season, but I keep a set of pressed aluminium plates in the trunk, which I think I got from that chap that's often at the Pod.

aussie plates

https://dixiesouvenirs.com/shop/persona ... ade-plate/

or

https://aussieplates.net/

letters and numbers right size if you ask for NSW BIG, wrong font and the writing underneath is too big

potentially illegal on days of the week with a vowel in

yellow on the front is not good

however seem to be supremely visible and legible on ANPR at local garage, so i haven't driven off without paying recently

On a recent trip to Angola Africa, i noticed that all the number plates were a UK size template with almost American writing :o

A trip down to the government office and $2 later :geek:
