Better late than never, hopefully... from August Bank Holiday, their annual classic car meet.
Not a huge gathering of US stuff but we managed to get chosen as 3rd place in their American category. 2nd place was the pale blue 56 'vette and first was a 71 'stang that somehow I forgot to get a photo of
Quite a surprise with so many other, what we'd think were more obvious choices for an award

I can’t decide between the Dyane Camper or the Facel Vega.
Lovely pictures
Thanks Stew. Certainly an interesting pair!
I cant remember seeing another 4 door Facel Vega before.... ?
The Facel Vega Excellence belongs to a good friend of mine, in fact the guy responsible for my American car addiction, its a pretty rare car, has a 383 Mopar in it, i've driven it a few times, its a lovely car. The owner has a few rare and obscure cars, he also owns the Ghia L64 that was at Brooklands last year, a one of 99 built Pininfarina 59 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham and a one of 400 1957 Eldorado Brougham with the suicide doors and stainless steel roof
Thanks for the insight Andy. 57 Eldorado Brougham is one hell of a Caddy, very cool. I dream of driving the one out of the museum at Le Mans every time I visit.

Is that still there, I saw it when I last went, in 1991! :-)
