We headed straight for the MMA stand and were immediately greeted by Jock... sorry, Steve

Speaking to one of the Mustang guys we know on their stand, opposite the MMA stand, we got chatting about carpets. As you do...

Turns out Andy (Philips? - Roy Slowhand can confirm the surname) is a carpet fitter and supplied and fitted their 100 sq m carpet for £400 (didn't charge for labour and that's the cheapest carpet you can get) the and said he'd happily do the same for us next time if needed. Worth bearing in mind. The stands look so much better with carpet than the patchy dark grey bare floor finish...
Then on to the Classic American stand, hoping to see Gavin's T/A Challenger... which I suspected wouldn't be there as it wasn't included in the advert in the show guide. Wasnt aware why tho till we spoke to Ben at Classic American - i'll let Gavin explain if he comes on here

Fortunately we weren't in the market for carpet underlay, door seals or obscure tools this year so spent the rest of the time, till closing at 6.30 looking at the other car club and dealer stands. And peering over the picket fence at the cars in the Silverstone Auctions area. Another familiar face we spent some time with was the infamous Mal Bird (Budgie), once of this parish, who had his car dealer hat on - not literally tho.
I've slimmed down the 330 pics i took to a more manageable 250, so bear with me...
