Cheers chaps and thanks for your advice blue.
Spot welded the old arch to the new and then sprayed couple a layers of lacquer over it to protect it.

Would have liked big wheels / tyres like yours Pete, but didn't want to mess around with the suspension / leaf springs.
Still it's got some stance now.

A good decision.
You have no idea how many hours, Wheels and tyres for test, and general faffing around it took to get the Big tyres under the Arches with stock tubs and getting the car to sit at stock height.

275x60x15 AVON CR6ZZ on rear before that 275x60x15 goodrich on mod was to move offset spring hangers and move front mounts inboard wheels are 15x10 A.R.E 's

Looking good, that car brings back some old memories from when it was local here in Bedfordshire. I also remember it being lime green at one time?

True , i think there's only about 20% that car left now , replaced just abot everthing in the end
